| The Sox complete the first series of the season on the other end of the broom, sweeping the Rangers. The biggest bats were provided by David Ortiz and Adrian Gonzalez. Big Papi rips out 2 homeruns and 5 RBI for the day, and Gonzalez gets a nice 3 for 4 game falling a triple shy of the cycle while driving in four. Not a bad last two games for Mr. G., for two games of yesterday's 2 for 5, homerun and 5 RBI performance on top of today's 3 for 4, homer, 4 RBI game for a total two game stretch of 5 for 9, two homeruns and 9 RBI. |
